The Idea and Concept

In this video clip as usually Slipknot shows angriness , but the different is they show the angriness from their fans that they usually called Maggots. This Maggots comes to the house which is Slipknot have perform in that house all of the fans come to see Slipknot performance, the Maggots come to the house rudely they destroy everything include the basket ball ring. In this video you will see a lot of angriness.

The camera shoot

The video was begin with the close up picture of a man and he seems so tired and got no power but he still want to see the Slipknot performance, medium shoot and extreme close up. The video move so fast I mean that the movement of the picture was so dynamic but sometime it move slowly.

Describing Shots

When describing camera angles, or creating them yourself, you have to think about three important factors

— The FRAMING or the LENGTH of shot

— The ANGLE of the shot

— If there is any MOVEMENT involved

When describing different cinematic shots, different terms are used to indicate the amount of subject matter contained within a frame, how far away the camera is from the subject, and the perspective of the viewer. Each different shot has a different purpose and effect. A change between two different shots is called a CUT. In this video the shots is very dynamic and make the audience curious about how the video end, because the element of shoots was very maximal

Report: SLIPKNOT’s ‘Duality’ Video Cost Nearly Half A Million To Produce – Apr. 2, 2004

A KCCI TV (Iowa) report on the making of the new SLIPKNOT promotional video for the song “Duality” has been posted online at location. The clip, which reportedly cost between $300,000 and $500,000 to produce, was shot at a house in West Des Moines, Iowa last Saturday (March 27) and featured more than 350 fans of the group (or “maggots”, as they’re affectionately called), many of whom had traveled from as far as Ukraine and Great Britain to attend the shoot.

Since the filming was completed, the family in West Des Moines, Iowa, who rented their house to SLIPKNOT for the shoot, have asked the band to replace or fix a number of items that they say were severely damaged by the hundreds of “maggots” who were present for the filming. These items include broken windows throughout the house, new painted kitchen destroyed, damage to the driveway, torn-up lawn, front door destroyed, rugs sustained water damage, whole house needs repainting, gutters were broken, back door and window frames broken, equipment missing, basketball backboard trashed, damage from cigarette butts, ceiling destroyed where chandelier fell, and picnic tables broken.

The “Duality” video shoot was helmed by the directing duo of Mark Klasfeld and Tony Petrossian. The track comes off the band’s new album, “Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)”, due on May 25 through Roadrunner Records.
